Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is Exereco Careers free?
Yes. Creating a profile, applying for jobs and posting jobs are all free.
Do I need a separate account for Careers?
No. You use your Exereco member login (email, Google or Facebook). The first time you open Careers you choose whether you’re looking for a job or hiring.
Can I be a candidate and an employer?
Each account is either a candidate or a business. A candidate can switch to a business account in Settings. To do both at the same time, use a second account.
Who can see my profile and CV?Candidates
Only the employers you apply to, and the Exereco team. Your profile is never public.
When does an employer get my phone and email?Candidates
Only once they invite you to an interview or make you an offer. At the same moment you get their contact details.
Can I withdraw an application?Candidates
Yes, from “My applications”, any time before you receive an offer. You can apply again later while the job is open.
How do I update my CV?Candidates
Go to My profile → Edit and upload a new file (PDF or Word, up to 4 MB). Applications you send afterwards include the new CV.
Why does my job need approval?Employers
To keep Exereco Careers free of scams and spam, the Exereco team checks every new or edited job before it is published.
What happens when I edit a live job?Employers
The changes go back for approval and the job is hidden until it is approved again. Closing and reopening a job doesn’t need approval, unless the Exereco team closed it.
How do I contact an applicant?Employers
Send an interview invite or make an offer from the applicant board. Their email and phone then appear on their application.
Can I see how my job is doing?Employers
Yes. My jobs shows views, applicants and the share of visitors who applied for each job.
I think a job is a scam. What should I do?
Use “Report this job” at the bottom of the job page. Reports go straight to the Exereco team, never to the employer.
How do I delete my Careers profile?
Go to Settings → Delete my Careers profile. This removes your Careers profile and its data; your Exereco member account stays.
